I Think I'm In Love!
Thanks to the great folks over at the Color Club Facebook page, I discovered a fantastic site where you can buy hard-to-find and discontinued polishes online! The site is Victoria Nail Supply, and I bought four Color Club holo polishes for $3.00 each (plus shipping)! I bought two from the Spring 2009 Femme Fatale collection (Revvvolution and Worth the Risque), and two from the Spring 2009 Catwalk Queen collection (Catwalk Queen and Fashion Addict). I also picked up OPI's Black Shatter from their Katy Perry and Serena Williams collections. Applied as a topcoat, it gives any nail polish a cool, shattered looking effect. I'm very excited to try them all!
Nail Haul!
My trip to Sally Beauty Supply today was fruitful! I found these, from Color Club. similar to the Sally Hansen Salon Effects (or the custom designed nail decals you can order from Inque). I'll definitely post pics when I try these out!
Spring Is In The Air!
More Sally Hansen Salon Effects, this time in Fly With Me. I didn't like these as much as the others. They didn't stick or form to the nail as well, and they chipped very easily within the first few days. I do think the design is pretty though!
Back to Basics
2/26/11 - Got my fill today, and decided to go with a more subdued look. Still, these nails are eye catching, with the large multicolored glitter throughout. I'm wearing Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Strobe Light. It's not technically a French mani, but it looks nice, oui?
Here Kitty, Kitty
2/14/11 - This week I'm trying out Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Kitty, Kitty. I love them! They went on easily, probably a bit easier than Frock Star did a few weeks back. Once again, Salon Effects don't disappoint!
Fresh Full Set
2/9/11 - I botched my old nails by clipping them, so I had to have them soaked off and re-done. Won't do that again! The new nails are lookin' good, though. I went with a square round shape this time and chose OPI Who Are You Wearing? from their Holiday in Hollywood 2007 collection. LOVE this color! Too bad it's so old and hard to find. Lynn's Nails on 6th has it, though! The pictures don't really do it justice. It's a very multi-faceted color, black-raspberry, sometimes blue, sometimes more black. I highly recommend it!
