Experiment time!

3/15/11 - As seen in my previous post, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Strobe Light is a really cool clear-pink glitter polish with lots of holographic sparkles. It looked so pretty by itself, I had to see what it looked like as a topcoat!

For the base color I chose a gunmetal gray I'd received as part of a Color Workshop gift set. It looks more black here, but I assure you it's really a chrome-ish color in person. :)

Then I added one coat of Strobe Light:

^ Blurred to show glitter.

I am really happy with the result! This looks a lot (to me) like the pictures I've seen of Kae's frankens, Glitterverse and Seeing Stars. What do you think?

More decals and Color Workshop

11/17/10. Didn't do such a great job on the painting :) Color is from The Color Workshop, part of this set.

Experimenting with Decals

11/10/10 - Dae and I saw some cool nail decals at Claires, so we thought we'd try them out. Polish is The Color Workshop French Pink.
